Frequently asked questions

Can I print several months?

Yes, switch the month and download again. With the subscription every further month costs nothing extra.

How does the subscription work, and how do I cancel?

For the subscription you sign in without a password: with a 6-digit code by email or with Google. Your drafts are then saved in your account, on up to three signed-in devices. It renews every month. You can cancel any time to the end of the paid month, in your account or at “Verträge hier kündigen”. It only covers timesheets, each site has its own subscription.

Are public holidays included automatically?

Yes, all statutory public holidays of the federal state you pick. Local holidays of single towns (such as Assumption Day in parts of Bavaria) can be added in the day table under “Single days” if needed.

Does the tool work out my pay?

In mini-job mode it multiplies hours by your hourly wage and warns you about the minimum wage (Mindestlohn) and the mini-job limit. It does not replace a payslip with tax and contributions.

Should I hand in the timesheet in English?

There is no rule on the language, but employers, payroll offices and inspections by customs (Zoll) work in German. German or German + English is the safest choice: everyone can read it, and you still understand every line.

Can I print the timesheet in black and white?

Yes. All colours have a white background, and the “Plain” layout only uses fine lines. With the black and white colour your printer needs no colour ink at all.

What do I get for €3.99 incl. VAT and for €9.99 per month incl. VAT?

For a one-off €3.99 incl. VAT you download the timesheet you just made without a watermark, as a PDF and as an image. No account needed: your access link works for one year on up to three devices. Later changes get a watermark again. With the subscription for €9.99 per month incl. VAT all timesheets are watermark free, for any number of months or people.

I haven’t received an email. What can I do?

Please check your spam folder first. Mark the email as “Not spam” there so future emails arrive directly. Our emails come from zugang@stundenzettelerstellen.de. Nothing there either? Write to kontakt@stundenzettelerstellen.de.
